In order to prevent costly and unpredictable breakdowns in compressed air equipment it is good practice to have in place a scheduled and controlled preventive maintenance plan. Regular service helps to ensure that parts subject to wear are replaced before they fail, service checks to major components safeguard their operation, checks to electrical, lubricating and cooling functions help to maximise their service life. Such agreements allow maintenance to be planned to fit in with established production patterns.
